Grand Piece Online And The Issue Of Incentivising Mindless Grinding

The video I planned to make today was “farming krakens in a grand piece online for 4 hours”. I chose this idea because it is reliable - my grinding videos are almost always well received and get more views than average on my channel. I farmed krakens for 1 hour and 37 minutes. Then, I stopped. And thought to myself: “Why? Why am I doing this?”. I kept myself going by telling myself it was just for the video. However, I wasn’t the only one farming. There were other people farming the krakens with me. They weren’t making a video - yet they were more dedicated to farming krakens than I was. How could someone be so dedicated to something so dull and repetitive?
