Updated as on 01st October 2021:-
In terms of air bubble arrangement with Nepal as notified
by Min of Civil Aviation (MOCA) the following are
permitted to travel:
A. From India to Nepal: i. Indian & Nepali nationals
ii. Third country nationals (including diplomats) holding valid visa/entry permitfor Nepal, if required.
Only passengers destined for Nepal and not third countries
are allowed to travelon flights from India to Nepal.
B. From Nepal to India: i. Indian& Nepali nationals.
. All Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders and Person
of Indian Origin cardholders holding passports of any
country and
i. All third country nationals (including diplomats) intending
to travel to India forany purposes (including their
dependents on
appropriate category of dependent visa) except those on
Tourist Visa. Only passengers originating in Nepal are
allowed to travel on flights from Nepal to India.
Additionally, passengers travelling to Nepal will be
required to fill up the International Traveler Online Form.
Passengers can access the International Traveler Online
format:https://ccmc.gov.np/arms/person_add.php
It is mandatory for all the International passengers
departing from Kathmandu, to carry valid negative RT-PCR
certificate not older than 72 Hours before departure at the
time of Boarding flights from Kathmandu. This report
should be in original and stamped from designated Govt.
approved COVID-19Lab/ Institutions in Nepal.
Soft Copies / Duplicates / Mobile Images of RT-PCR
reports are not being accepted by the concerned
authorities at Kathmandu Airport.
Negative RTPCR certificates obtained from India by
Round Trip Passengers (Delhi-Kathmandu-Delhi) shall
not be valid while departing from Kathmandu
and passengers must carry Negative RT-PCR reports from
designated COVID-19Lab/Institutions in Nepal. Similarly,
Negative RT- PCR Certificates obtained from Nepal by Round
Trip Passengers (Kathmandu-Delhi-Kathmandu) shall not valid on arrival at Kathmandu and passengers must carry
Negative RT-PCR reports from designated COVID9Lab/Institutions in India.
Indian Diplomatic / Official passport holders and their family
members will be allowed to travel without the hotel booking
requirement of the mandatory quarantine policy of Nepal.
Passengers have to update CCMC website of NEPAL for
travel from INDIA to NEPAL (international arrival form)
and from NEPAL TO INDIA ( international departure form).

All passengers are required to have a certificate of
Negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test report from
Government authenticated labs or with photo or Bar code
of travelling passenger in English conducted within 72
hours from Swab collection time to the departure time of flight. (Children below 5years of age, travelling with
parents are exempted)
It is mandatory for all international passengers travelling
to Nepal to fill IHR form Online available at the website of
CCMC, Nepal (ccmc.gov.np)
All Passengers need to upload the Mandatory Health
Forms & Covid Negative Reports in advance on Govt of
India's Air Suvidha Portal for all passengers flying out of
Kathmandu.
Passengers travelling into Nepal as first port of
embarkation or transit are required to follow the enlisted
health &quarantine protocols: A) Should obtain prior visa
from Nepali missions abroad. b) Are subject to hotel
quarantine of 10 days at their own cost in hotels listed by
Ministry of Culture, Tourism &Civil Aviation. For latest

All Passengers must furnish evidence of hotel bookings of
10 days for hotel quarantine at their own cost in the hotels
listed by Ministry of Culture, Tourism & Civil Aviation or
Nepal Tourism Board. All those who are in hotel or home
quarantine have to do RT-PCR tests on the 4th and 11th
