Will California legalize gambling? It was an important point of Kevin Paffrath's plan when he announced he was running for Governor of California against Gavin Newsom. California may legalize sports betting in person and online in the near future. However, legalizing gambling across the entire state could bring California billions of dollars in additional tax revenue. How would this hurt Nevada? It's tough to predict if it were to happen, but for many years Nevada was one of the only places to offer so much in terms of gambling entertainment. Now that more states are legalizing gambling, Nevada has had to come up with new attractions to keep tourists coming back. Will California legalize gambling? Only time will tell.
