0:00 Intro
0:05 Well that's a first for me lol.
0:24 Also a first for me. Customer didn't mention what happened.
0:35 The mechanic who sent this in says this happens lots. Where customers come in saying their back up sensors don't work, yet they don't have any.
0:50 The mechanic believes it never had an air filter since brand new. That's not good. When I worked at Ford I saw some surprisingly wrong stuff with brand new vehicles, so kind of doesn't surprise me.
1:00 Mechanic said: "Blown head gasket, leaked into crank case until full and flooded into air box."
1:08 2018 Buick Enclave (photos is 3 years old). Nobody noticed until it had 200 miles / 321 kilometers on it.
1:15 A very rusty frame on a Jeep. They didn't not mention what year/model.
1:25 They didn't mention what kind of vehicle but working on this vehicle wouldn't definitely open a can of worms. Vehicle doesn't look safe anyways.
1:38 Mechanic said: "It didn't break anything else surprisingly, the compressor side leads right into the air to air which did let quite a bit of oil through but no debris."
1:48 Another first for me today. The driver of this truck, said the tow truck driver (who's been doing it for 25 years), also has never seen this before.
1:58 This was on a Hino. They didn't mention model/year. Worn carrier bearing.
2:05 Lug nuts on both vehicles were finger tight.
1st one (what mechanic said) - customer put them on finger tight then drove to the shop complaining about a vibration.
2nd one (what mechanic said) - he didn't realize they were loose until he drove the vehicle in the shop after a test drive.
2:14 Mechanic said: "It was a Toyota Avalon with 240k miles (386242 kilometers) on it...leaking everything everywhere, the axle seal was gapped and dripping around the axle(I could see the output bearing), front brakes were pad slapped with the rotors only having 3/4" of usable friction surface and 1/4" thick rust ring."
2:42 Did you know about this trick?
2:53 Outro. Thanks for watching!
