Republican Candidate Says Schools Are Trying To Eliminate "White People"
Published at : December 26, 2021
A Republican candidate in Michigan claimed during a Facebook Live event this week that public schools are trying to "eliminate" white people, particularly white males. The candidate, Mellissa Carone, gained the national spotlight last year when she appeared as one of Rudy Giuliani's "star witnesses" for voter fraud and made a complete fool of herself. Apparently nothing has changed, as Farron Cousins explains.

A Republican candidate for the state legislature in the state of Michigan, went on a Facebook live event this week where she proclaimed that public schools here in the United States are in fact trying to eliminate white people. Now, this isn't an ordinary candidate, by the way, this is somebody that we're all actually fairly familiar with. It's a woman by the name of Melissa Carone. And if you're not familiar with Melissa Carone, she is the woman who appeared as Rudy Giuliani's star witness last year, during those Michigan hearings on alleged voter fraud, where she came out and accused dominion voting systems of rigging the system. But she came across looking like somebody who had either just woken up or just gotten off a three day bender. I'm sure we all remember who I'm talking about, but nonetheless, she is running for office in the state of Michigan.
And here's what she said on this Facebook live event., they're trying eliminate the white people in America, particularly the white male in America, of course, talking about public schools because she is trying to cash in on the critical race theory fears of the Republican party. She's just kind of taking it, you know, to a whole new level. It's not that they want to teach that races them was bad. Or, you know, as Republicans say that white people should feel guilty. No, she's taken it to a whole new level. And they're just trying to get rid of white people. So if you're a white male, uhoh, I, I guess they're trying to eliminate us, right? No, that's not a thing that's happening. Nobody is trying to who eliminate white people. The only people who seem to feel that way are the people who believe in the white replacement theory, which of course is one of the foundations of the modern white supremacist movement.
They believe they're being replaced by non-white individuals, which of isn't actually happening. White people are not as big of a majority in the United States as they were years ago, but there's still the majority demographics do in fact shift, but nobody's effectively or actively trying to replace white people, but the base doesn't underst stand that. And that's why people like Melissa Carone go out there and say these things, you know, sometimes it's because sure they absolutely do believe them sometimes it's because they're trying to drum up the base, get them excited about something that's not real because they can't actually talk about the issues. We can expect more rhetoric like this, by the way. And, and that's one of the worst parts of this. This isn't just some LUN up in Michigan saying these things. This is the Republican party's talking point. This is the natural evolution of it. First it is critical race theories, bad, critical race theory is trying to make white people feel guilty, make children feel guilty about being white. And now it is they're trying to effectively replace, get rid of and eliminate what's her word, eliminate white people.
Now, even if critical race theory were being taught in public schools, which it is not. Please tell me how that eliminates white people. I mean, does the teacher give the lesson on critical race theory and then say, all right, all you white E come on up to the front here. I, I have to execute you. We're eliminating you now, now that you understand how racist you are, I, I don't really follow the elimination, uh, uh, plot here. So maybe Melissa Carone could, could expand upon that and tell us how the elimination process actually happens. But of course she can't because it's not real, it's totally fake just like her, you know, hopes for, for actually winning a seat in the state legislature.
