Albanese’s ‘outstanding campaign’ ruined by week one ‘disaster’

Former Victorian Liberal Party President Michael Kroger says Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese has had the “worst start to a campaign” ever seen.

Mr Kroger told Sky News Australia while he thinks Albanese is running an “outstanding campaign” and “small target strategy,” his first week of campaigning has been a “disaster”.

Former Labor Minister Stephen Conroy disagreed with Mr Kroger, saying Albanese’s first week won’t be at the “forefront” during the voting period.

“People with be talking about the health policy, education policy, aged care policy, the economic policy that Labor will be putting forward,” said Mr Conroy.
