Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed that there are several alternative routes for the delivery of grain from Ukraine, the easiest and the cheapest of those routes is through Belarus. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitro Kuleba said they are ready to start exports again from Port Odesa, but Russia can "abuse" the trade path to attack Odysseus.
Russian President Vladimir Putin pointed out Belarus to transport Ukraine's grain to other countries.
During his interview with Russian state channel Rossiya-24, Putin evaluated the global food crisis and grain shipments.
"From February 2020 to the end of 2021, in less than two years, the US monetary supply increased by 5.9 trillion trillion trillion dollars. This is the printing press working in a unique way. Total monetary supply increased by 38.6 percent.” he did.
Putin said that the mistake, which some US officials have agreed to, has increased food prices, and the second problem is European energy steps.
Stating that there are several alternative routes for the delivery of grain from Ukraine, Putin stressed that the easiest and cheapest of those routes is through Belarus.
Stating that the grain can be shipped to the ports of Baltic countries via Belarus, Putin said, "from there it can be sent to the world. However, sanctions against Belarus must be lifted.” he did.
Putin pointed out the ports of Ukraine, Poland, Romania and Russia-controlled ports, if cleared from mines as other alternative routes.
